3 months down, 2 to go

Well 3 months have come and gone with TurboFire but luckily I have the advanced DVDs so I can enjoy it for 2 more months.

I'm pretty happy with my results and I am excited about the next 2 months. After these 2 months I am going to start running more often and for longer periods of time. Then I will start Insanity!!!

update..

I started running this week. I am only running 3 days this week. I am running a mile each time. Yesterday I ran a mile in 10 mins and today I ran a mile in 9.50 mins. Hopefully I will be able to tell a difference tomorrow. I really hope I am going to be prepared for this half marathon!! I have a little less than 5 months to get ready. I have a friend training for a different half that is just a few days before the one I am running and I think we might try to train together, but I want to get somewhat better before I start running with people. We will see.

In other news my baby will be one next week :)/:(. Too soon.

Also, I have almost reached my goal weight!

I finally decided

I decided to stop thinking about running a full/half marathon and decided the only way I would ever do it is to sign up and commit myself. So on October 15 at 7am I will be running/walking in a half marathon hopefully with my sister:) I am very excited about this. I am still going to be doing TurboFire and then Insanity when I get done with TurboFire. This is going to be great. I had no idea when I ordered TurboFire this is the road I would be on.I love it.

My advice to anyone that is just starting to get into fitness is to push yourself through those first few weeks and then you will love everything about working out. When you are upset you will want to work out, when you go out to eat you won't choose a burger you will want something healthy, it takes over your life. If you can make it though the hard times you will never turn back.

Marathon??

I am entertaining the thought of running in the Music City marathon next year...

I am now on my third month of turbo fire and I am planning on completing 5 months of Turbofire and then moving on to Insanity.
I also have P90X but I not sure if I want to try P90X again. I was extremely bored with it the last time I tried...

So back to the marathon. I know it will be hard mentally, physically, and emotionally. I am not even completely sure I want to try it. I should wrap up my Beachbody workouts around October or November and I think I will try to start running after that. I haven't ran since I was in high school(no joke) and even then it was only a 1 mile or so. I also think that running a marathon will be a great goal. I might try my hand at a half marathon first(this one). We will see though. I will keep you up-to-date on my thoughts about this. Maybe I can find a buddy to train with me. Any takers???
