Well, we have survived our big move. Although there are days when I want nothing more than to hope in the car and drive all the way to Nashville, we really love it down here. It is for sure a huge adjustment though.
With Colten working, Makenna and I get out and go for walks or go shopping for things. Just to get out. Being home all alone day in and day out with a toddler isn't the most fun I have ever had, but we are getting through it.
This week I am even thinking of taking Makenna to the beach by myself. AM I CRAZY?!?! Probably. It is something else to get us out of house and its FREE.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.

Where life takes you.
At the end of the summer and pending my husbands acceptance into the masters program, our family will be making the journey to South Florida for the next few years.
Last month Colten was offered a position as a graduate assistant with housing at Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton. The position is very similar to what he currently does at Austin Peay. As hard as it will be to move some 900 miles away from family and friends this will be a great blessing to us. Not only will we have the experience of the new environment but this will also provide Colten with the opportunity to get his masters.
We are supposed to be at the university by July 20 for Colten to begin training the next week-ish. Everyone please pray for us during this time and also for our families as this is sure to be a difficult transition for everyone.
