( I am open to any advice anyone has on this topic.)
My goals when it comes to working out are:
1. Get healthy
2. Lose weight
In that order. It is important for me to be happy with myself. Since I stopped working out as much I have gained back most of what I lost in the first place. I really feel the need to have a healthy eating life style. Then there is the problem with how extremely picky I am. I can eat a salad but I am going to load it with bacon, cheese and chicken until I might as well eat a big mac. I like blueberry muffin and poptarts, but I am terrified of actually eating a blueberry.
I know that I am weird.
There really isn't much point in trying to lose belly fat if you aren't eating healthy though. You can build up your ab muscles but you will never be able to see them..
Today, while browsing pinterest I found a list of the top ten belly fat burning foods and most of them I liked.
1. Oatmeal
2.Almonds
3.Olive oil
4.Eggs
5.Whey Protein
6.Berries
7. Lean meat
8.Whole grains
9.Peanut butter
10. Green veggies
This list I can do. I like 90% of the things on the list.
My problem is that I don't like a lot of things at are required to make all of my meals healthy. If anyone has any advice or recipes that I could try It would be appreciated.
I have lots of healthy recipes pinned on Pinterest. For me the key is counting calories but still keeping some variety in our meals so I don't get bored and want to quit. I am still working on the last 10 pounds of my baby weight. Hang in there!
